If you are in any of the other villages of Cinque Terre, such as Riomaggiore, Manarola, or Vernazza, take the regional train towards Monterosso al Mare. The train journey offers stunning views of the coastline and takes about 10-15 minutes from Vernazza and about 20-30 minutes from Riomaggiore. Upon arrival at Monterosso al Mare train station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the town center.

From the Monterosso al Mare train station, head straight towards Via Roma. You will find a pedestrian path leading directly into the town. Continue on Via Roma for about 5 minutes. You will pass a few shops and cafes on your left. The Parrocchia di S. Giovanni Battista will be located on your right at Via Roma, 12. Keep an eye out for its distinctive architecture, and you’ll know you’ve arrived.
