Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), exit the cathedral and head south on Via dei Calzaiuoli. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, walk through the square and take the exit towards Via dei Leoni. Continue along this street until you reach Via della Vigna Nuova. Turn right onto Via della Vigna Nuova and walk until you reach Via Tornabuoni. Turn left, and then take the first right onto Via dei Fossi. Continue on this street until you reach the Arno River. Cross the river using the Ponte alla Carraia. Once you are on the other side, continue straight on Via dei Serragli until you reach Piazza di Santo Spirito. From there, head north on Via di Santo Spirito, which turns into Via Romana. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele II, where you will find Giardino dell'Orticoltura on your left.

• Public Transport - Bus

  Head to the nearest bus stop, which you can find at Piazza della Repubblica. Board bus number 11 towards 'Ospedale di Careggi' or bus number 36 towards 'Piazza Tasso'. Get off at the stop 'Giardino dell'Orticoltura', which is a short walk from the park. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II, and you will see the entrance to Giardino dell'Orticoltura.

• Taxi or Ride-sharing

  You can easily hail a taxi from any location in Florence. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Giardino dell'Orticoltura' located at Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 4. The ride will only take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can use a ride-sharing app like Uber to request a ride to the same address.
