If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head south on Via Roma towards Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight until you reach the square. From there, take Via degli Strozzi, which leads you directly toward the historic center. After about 5 minutes, you will arrive at Piazza della Signoria. Continue walking along Via della Ninna until you reach the intersection with Via dei Leoni. Turn left and continue straight until you come to Piazza della Passera, which is a small square just off Via dei Bardi.
