Walking
From the historic center of Florence, start at Piazza della Signoria. Head towards the Uffizi Gallery and cross the Ponte Vecchio. Once across the bridge, continue straight onto Via Guicciardini and then take a left onto Via dei Renai. Follow this street until you reach the base of the hill leading to San Miniato al Monte. The path will become steeper, and you'll see signs leading you up the hill to the Basilica. Continue up the steps until you reach Piazzetta di San Miniato, which is located just in front of the Basilica.
