From the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head southwest on Via Roma towards Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight onto Via del Corso until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, take Via dei Vecchietti, which will lead you to the Arno River. Once you reach the river, turn right onto Lungarno degli Archibusieri. Walk along the river until you see the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Via Guicciardini. Follow it until you reach the intersection with Via di San Niccolò.
