Walking
If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head south on Via Roma towards Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight through the square and take the first left onto Via dei Calzaiuoli. Follow this street until you reach Piazza della Signoria, where you will see the Palazzo Vecchio. From Piazza della Signoria, walk towards the Arno River, crossing over the Ponte Vecchio. Once you cross the bridge, you will find yourself directly at Ponte Vecchio.

If you are near the Santa Maria Novella train station, take bus line C2 towards 'Viale Fratelli Rosselli'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Strozzi'. From there, walk towards Via de' Tornabuoni and then head towards the Arno River. Continue straight until you reach Ponte Vecchio, which will be on your left.

From the Santa Maria Novella train station, you can take Tram Line T1 towards 'Villa Costanza'. Get off at the 'Unita' stop. From there, head east on Via della Scala until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. Then follow the walking directions to Ponte Vecchio via Via dei Calzaiuoli as described above.
