Getting There

  • Walking

    From Santa Maria Novella, exit the train station and head towards Via Nazionale. Walk straight along Via Nazionale for about 600 meters until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. Take a right onto Via del Corso and continue walking straight. After about 300 meters, you will see the entrance to Piazza della Signoria on your left.

  • Public Bus

    From Santa Maria Novella, head to the bus stop located outside the station. Take bus number 1 or 17 towards 'Piazza San Marco'. After a 5-minute ride, get off at the 'Piazza San Marco' stop. From there, walk straight down Via Cavour for about 700 meters, and you will arrive at Piazza della Signoria on your right. The bus ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 90 minutes.
