Walking
From the main square in Herculaneum, Piazza della Repubblica, head southwest on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and follow it as it curves to the right. After about 500 meters, you will reach the train station, Stazione di Ercolano Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Salerno. Alight at the Cava de' Tirreni station, which is approximately 25 minutes away. Upon exiting the station, turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Michele Morcaldi, where you will turn right. The Biblioteca Monumento Nazionale Badia di Cava will be on your left at Via Michele Morcaldi, 6.

Start at the bus stop in Herculaneum located near the entrance to the archaeological site. Board the Sita bus heading to Cava de' Tirreni. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Cava de' Tirreni, get off and head towards Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Michele Morcaldi, then turn right.
