Walking
Start from the central area of Herculaneum, near the ruins. Head towards Corso Resina and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and continue walking until you reach the train station, Ercolano Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the Positano stop, and then walk downhill towards the sea. Follow the signs to Piazza Flavio Gioia where the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta is located.

From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop at Corso Resina. Catch the Sita bus towards Positano. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride along the Amalfi Coast. Get off at the Positano stop and walk towards the beach area. From there, follow the signs to Piazza Flavio Gioia, where you will find the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta.
