Getting There

Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Once there, follow the signs to the train station, which is just a 10-minute walk. At the Herculaneum train station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Amalfi stop. From the train station in Amalfi, exit and walk straight towards the coast. Darsena Pier will be on your right after a 5-minute walk along the waterfront.

Bus
From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Corso Resina. Catch the bus towards Amalfi (check local schedules for route numbers and times). The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Amalfi, disembark at the main bus terminal, and walk towards the coast. Darsena Pier is a short 10-minute walk along the waterfront, located to your right.

Train and Walking
Start from Herculaneum and walk to the Herculaneum train station. Board a Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Salerno. From Salerno, switch to a ferry heading to Amalfi. The ferry ride will provide beautiful views of the coastline and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amalfi, walk straight towards the waterfront; Darsena Pier will be to the right after a short walk.
