Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head east on Corso Resina toward Via Roma. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station, Ercolano Scavi. Enter the station and take the train towards Napoli Porta Nolana. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Napoli Porta Nolana, exit the station and head north toward Via Marina. Walk for about 300 meters until you can turn right onto Via Riccardo Wagner. After about 600 meters, turn left onto Via Pietrarsa. The Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa will be on your left at Via Pietrarsa, snc.
Bus
From the center of Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Corso Resina. Take the EAV bus line 1 or 2 towards Napoli. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop 'Pietrarsa'. After getting off, walk about 200 meters along Via Pietrarsa. The entrance to the Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa will be on your right.
Train
Start at the Ercolano Scavi train station in Herculaneum. Board a Circumvesuviana train towards Napoli and disembark at the Napoli Porta Nolana station, which takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the train station and walk north for about 300 meters to Via Marina. Turn right and walk for approximately 600 meters until you reach Via Pietrarsa. The museum will be on your left at Via Pietrarsa, snc.
