Once in the city, use Via San Lorenzo and Via Balbi to reach the area near Piazza della Nunziata. There is limited street parking available, or you can use one of the public parking garages nearby, such as the 'Park Centro' which is a short walk away from the basilica.

If you are coming from nearby towns, take a train to Genoa's main train station (Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe). From the station, exit and head towards the bus stop located just outside. You can take bus number 20 or 35 towards 'Porto Antico' and get off at 'Piazza della Nunziata'. The basilica will be just a few steps away from the bus stop.

For those already in Genoa, you can take the local buses. Routes 1, 3, and 9 all stop near Piazza della Nunziata. Make sure to check the schedules and buy a ticket before boarding from a local tabaccheria (tobacco shop) or ticket machine. The ticket costs around €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes for any bus or metro connections.

Genoa also has a metro system. If you are near a metro station, take Line 1 and get off at 'Darsena' station. From there, you can walk to Piazza della Nunziata in about 15 minutes. Follow Via di Porta Soprana and then turn onto Via della Nunziata.
