From anywhere in the Italian Riviera, follow the signs to Genoa (Genova) via the A10 highway. Once you enter the city, follow signs for the city center (Centro). Look for parking options in the vicinity, as street parking can be limited. The nearest parking facilities include 'Parking Car Park De Ferrari' or 'Park Giuffrè'. From the parking, it's a short walk to the museum.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to 'Genova Piazza Principe' or 'Genova Brignole' stations, which are well-connected to various cities in the Italian Riviera. From 'Genova Piazza Principe', you can take the Metro Line D (Direction Brin) to 'De Ferrari' station. Once you exit, head towards Via XX Settembre and follow the signs for Via Lomellini. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from there. If you’re coming from 'Genova Brignole', you can take a bus or tram towards the city center and also make your way to Via Lomellini.

If you are already in the central area of Genoa, you can easily walk to the Museo del Risorgimento. From the De Ferrari Metro station, head east along Via XX Settembre. Turn left onto Via Lomellini, and the museum will be located on your left at number 11. This route takes approximately 10 minutes.
