From Piazza Vittorio Veneto, a central square in Matera, walk northeast towards the Sassi. Follow Via Bruno Buozzi, which leads into the heart of the Sasso Barisano. Continue towards Sasso Caveoso, following signs for Rione Malve. The Vicinato a Pozzo is located near the ancient necropolis. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Note that the Sassi have many stairs and uneven surfaces.
