Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Porta Nuova, head south on Via Melchiorre Gioia toward Corso Como. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach Corso Como. Turn left onto Corso Como and walk for approximately 200 meters. You will come to a large intersection with the Porta Garibaldi station ahead. The landmark of Porta Garibaldi is located at P.za XXV Aprile, which is a short walk from the station.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to use public transportation, walk to the nearby 'Garibaldi FS' Metro station. From Porta Nuova, it is about a 5-minute walk. Once at the station, take the M5 line (the purple line) towards Garibaldi FS. Exit at the 'Garibaldi FS' stop, which is just one stop away. From there, follow the signs to exit toward P.za XXV Aprile, which is where Porta Garibaldi is located. The metro ticket costs around €2.
