The Santuario Diocesano Madonna Di Crea, located in Serralunga di Crea, is a captivating destination that blends history, spirituality, and the beauty of the Monferrato landscape. This sacred site, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, has attracted pilgrims for centuries. According to tradition, the sanctuary's origins trace back to the 4th century when Saint Eusebius, Bishop of Vercelli, established an oratory here. Over the centuries, the sanctuary has undergone numerous expansions and restorations, reflecting various architectural styles. In 1589, construction began on the Sacro Monte (Sacred Mountain), featuring chapels dedicated to the mysteries of the Rosary.
