From the main square of Montepulciano (Piazza Grande), head southeast on Via di Gracciano nel Corso. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it merges into Via del Poliziano. Follow this street until you see the signs for the SP88 road. This will take you out of the town towards the countryside. As you walk along the SP88, enjoy the beautiful Tuscan scenery. After approximately 2 kilometers, follow the signs to Cipressi di Monticchiello. The entrance will be on your left. Please remember that the walk will take about 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
