Walking
From the main square of Montepulciano, Piazza Grande, head towards the entrance of the town. You will find a sign pointing towards the bus station, which is located at Via di Gracciano nel Corso. Walk straight down Via di Gracciano until you reach the bus station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Perugia. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arriving in Perugia, exit the bus station and walk straight towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto. From there, take Via dei Priori, which will lead you to Piazza Braccio Fortebraccio. The Church of Saint Fortunatus will be on your right.

Public Transportation
Start at the Montepulciano train station. If you're already in the town center, you can take one of the local buses that go to the train station. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket for a train to Perugia. The train journey will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Perugia's train station, exit and head towards the bus terminal adjacent to the train station. Take a local bus towards the city center and get off at the stop for Piazza Braccio Fortebraccio. The Church of Saint Fortunatus will be nearby.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Montepulciano to Perugia. You can find taxis near the main square, Piazza Grande. The taxi ride will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Perugia, ask the driver to drop you off at Piazza Braccio Fortebraccio.
