    If you are starting from the main square of Montepulciano, Piazza Grande, head southeast on Via del Teatro towards Via di Voltaia nel Corso. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Gracciano nel Corso. Turn left onto Via di Gracciano nel Corso and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn right onto Via di San Donato and follow it until you reach the next intersection. Turn left onto Via delle Lettere and continue walking until you reach the junction with Via del Poliziano. Turn right here and follow the street until you arrive at the entrance of Montalcino, where you will find Piazza del Popolo.

You can catch the bus from the main bus station located near the train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from Piazza Grande.
