If you're starting from the historic center of Parma, head towards Piazza Garibaldi. From the square, take Via Garibaldi and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour and walk until you hit Viale Toschi. Here, take a left and follow Viale Toschi for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Palazzo Ducale di Parma on your left at Viale Piacenza, 3.

From the main train station (Stazione di Parma), take bus line 6 or line 8 towards 'Piazza della Pace'. Get off at the 'Viale Piacenza' stop. After getting off, walk back a short distance and you will see the Palazzo Ducale di Parma on your left. The total journey will take around 15-20 minutes.
