If you are starting from the Pisa Central Station, exit the station and head south on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight, passing through the square and into Corso Italia. Follow Corso Italia for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From here, take Via San Martino to the right, and continue straight until you reach the Arno River. Cross the river via the Ponte di Mezzo. After crossing, continue straight onto Lungarno Pacinotti. Keep walking along the river until you reach the intersection with Via di Terzanaia. Turn left onto Via di Terzanaia, and shortly after, you will find the Citadel and Republican Arsenal at Piazza di Terzanaia, 56126 Pisa PI.

From Pisa Central Station, take the bus number 4 or 5 from the nearby bus stop. Board the bus heading towards 'Tirrenia' or 'San Giuliano Terme'. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the 'Piazza Garibaldi' stop. From there, head towards the Arno River and turn left onto Lungarno Pacinotti. Continue walking along the river until you reach the intersection with Via di Terzanaia. Turn left onto Via di Terzanaia, and the Citadel and Republican Arsenal will be located at Piazza di Terzanaia, 56126 Pisa PI.

Bicycle
If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can find rental services near the Pisa Central Station. Once you have a bike, head south on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and continue onto Corso Italia. Follow Corso Italia for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. Then, take Via San Martino to the right and bike towards the Arno River. Cross the river via the Ponte di Mezzo, then continue along the Lungarno Pacinotti.
