Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the Pisa Central Station (Stazione di Pisa Centrale), exit the station and head towards the main road, Viale Gramsci. Turn left onto Viale Gramsci and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the River Arno. Once you reach the river, turn right and walk along Lungarno Mediceo. Continue walking along the riverbank for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several beautiful views of the river and the surrounding architecture. Eventually, you will reach Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli. The Museo delle Navi Antiche di Pisa will be on your left at Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli, 16.

• Bus

  From the Pisa Central Station, head to the nearby bus terminal (located across the street from the station). Look for Bus Line 5, which goes towards 'Pisa San Rossore'. Get on the bus and stay on it for about 10 minutes. Disembark at the 'San Rossore' stop. From there, walk straight ahead along Via San Rossore, which will lead you to Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli. The museum will be located on your right at Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli, 16.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near the Pisa Central Station. After renting a bike, head towards Viale Gramsci and follow the same route as the walking directions. Cycle along Lungarno Mediceo and continue until you reach Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli. The museum will be on your left at Lungarno Ranieri Simonelli, 16. There are bike racks available near the museum for you to lock your bike.
