If you are starting from the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, begin by walking south on Via Santa Maria. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lungarno Pacinotti. Turn left onto Lungarno Pacinotti and walk along the riverbank. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a bridge (Ponte di Mezzo) on your left. Cross this bridge, and once you reach the other side, continue walking straight until you arrive at Lungarno Gambacorti. The Chiesa di Santa Maria della Spina will be on your right, just a few steps along the riverside.

If you're coming from Pisa Centrale Train Station, exit the station and head towards Via Matteotti. Turn left onto Via Matteotti and continue straight until you reach the river. At the river, turn right onto Lungarno Pacinotti and continue walking along the riverbank. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach Ponte di Mezzo. Cross the bridge, then proceed straight to Lungarno Gambacorti. The Chiesa di Santa Maria della Spina will be on your right, just a short walk from the bridge.

From the Pisa Centrale Train Station, you can take a local bus (such as Line 2) towards 'Piazza dei Miracoli.' Ride the bus until you reach the stop 'Piazza Garibaldi.' Once you disembark, walk towards the river, and you’ll be on Lungarno Gambacorti. The Chiesa di Santa Maria della Spina is a short walk from the bus stop, directly along the riverside to your right.
