Walking
From the main beach area in Positano, head up Via del Saraceno until you reach the main road (Via Pasitea). Turn left onto Via Pasitea and continue until you reach the bus stop for SITA buses, which is located near the main road. Take a SITA bus towards Naples. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Napoli Centrale' station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Disembark at the 'Porta Nolana' station in Naples, which is the closest stop for the museum. The Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Head east on Via Raffaele Viviani, then turn left onto Via Pietrarsa where the museum is located.

Begin your journey at the main beach area in Positano. Walk to the nearest SITA bus stop located on Via Pasitea. Board a SITA bus heading towards Naples. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Napoli Centrale bus station. From there, you can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa. If you prefer to walk, exit the bus station, turn right onto Via G. Garibaldi, then turn left to Via Pietrarsa. The museum is a few minutes away on this street.
