Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Positano, head towards the main beach (Spiaggia Grande). Once you reach the beach, look for the path that leads uphill towards Viale Pasitea. Walk along Viale Pasitea until you reach the bus stop area. From here, you can catch a SITA bus to Naples. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Naples bus terminal (Piazza Garibaldi), you will need to transfer to the Metro Line 2 towards 'Centrale'. After a few stops, get off at 'Montesanto' station. From Montesanto, follow signs to the funicular station and take the funicular to the top of the hill. After exiting the funicular, walk down Via Toledo towards Piazza del Plebiscito. Palazzo Salerno is located at Piazza del Plebiscito, 32, which will be on your right. The total walking distance from the bus terminal to the palace is about 15 minutes.

    Begin at the main beach (Spiaggia Grande) in Positano. Look for the ferry terminal located at the beach. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Naples. The ferry will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Naples ferry terminal, walk straight towards the main road (Via Acton) and continue walking until you reach Piazza del Plebiscito. This should take about 10 minutes on foot. Palazzo Salerno is located at Piazza del Plebiscito, 32, which will be on your left as you approach the square.
