If you're starting from the Colosseum, head northwest on Via di Villa Peretti towards Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Continue onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano, and then turn left onto Via Labicana. Walk until you reach the Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore. From there, take Via dell'Esquilino and continue straight until you reach Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour and walk until you reach Via dei Fori Imperiali. Continue until you reach Piazza Venezia, then take Via del Corso. Continue walking until you reach Via Michelangelo Caetani, where Palazzo Mattei is located at number 32.

Public Transport - Bus

From Termini Station, take bus number 70 towards 'Cavalleggeri/Mazzini'. Get off at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk straight along Via del Corso until you reach Via Michelangelo Caetani. Turn left and walk until you find number 32, where Palazzo Mattei is located.

Public Transport - Metro

Take Line B of the Metro from Termini Station and travel towards 'Laurentina'. Get off at the 'Colosseo' station. From Colosseo, exit and walk towards Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Continue walking straight until you reach Via Cavour, then turn right. Walk until you reach Via dei Fori Imperiali and continue towards Piazza Venezia. From there, proceed along Via del Corso until you find Via Michelangelo Caetani on your left. Palazzo Mattei is at number 32.
