Tram
To reach Trastevere from the city center, take Tram Line 8 from the stop 'Argentina' toward 'Casaletto'. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes and disembark at the 'Trastevere' stop. From the tram stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach the heart of Trastevere, where you'll find charming streets, restaurants, and shops.
Bus
If you are near Termini Station, you can take Bus 75 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After about 10 stops (approximately 20 minutes), get off at 'Piazza Ippolito Nievo'. From there, walk for about 10 minutes towards the river, and you'll arrive at the Trastevere area, famous for its vibrant atmosphere and narrow cobbled streets.
Walking
If you are close to the Tiber River, you can take a scenic walk to Trastevere. Start at 'Ponte Sisto' (the Sisto Bridge) and cross over to Trastevere. Once you cross the bridge, you'll find yourself in a lovely area filled with quaint streets and local eateries. Walk straight for about 10 minutes to explore the main attractions of Trastevere.
Metro and Bus
From the 'Termini' Metro station, take Metro Line A toward 'Battistini'. Get off at 'Ottaviano' (4 stops). Walk to the nearby bus stop 'Ottaviano - San Pietro' and take Bus 23 toward 'Trastevere'. After about 15 minutes and 10 stops, get off at 'Trastevere/Min. Pubblica Istruzione'. You will be in the vicinity of the vibrant Trastevere district.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can also take a taxi. Simply find a taxi stand or hail one on the street. Inform the driver you want to go to Trastevere, and they will take you directly to the area. The ride from the city center should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
