Walking
From the center of San Gimignano, start at Piazza della Cisterna. Head south on Via San Giovanni, which will take you out of the main square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and walk until you reach the main road, Via Folgore da San Gimignano. Turn right and continue walking until you reach the bus station, Autostazione. At the bus station, take the bus heading to Florence (Firenze). The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Florence, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus to Viale Manfredo Fanti. If walking, head northeast on Via Nazionale, then turn left onto Viale Spartaco Lavagnini. Continue straight, crossing the Arno River, and follow Viale dei Mille until it turns into Viale Manfredo Fanti, where the Artemio Franchi Stadium is located.
