From Sorrento train station, purchase a ticket to Pompei. Trains to Pompei run frequently. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Pompei train station, exit the station and head straight to the main road. Turn right and follow the signs to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, which is about a 15-minute walk.

You can take the EAV bus from Sorrento to Pompei. The bus departs from the Sorrento bus terminal, which is located near the train station. Look for the bus labeled 'Pompei'. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Pompei, get off at the main bus stop and follow the signs to the Archaeological Park, which is about a 10-minute walk.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the main square in Sorrento (Piazza Tasso). Head southeast towards Via San Cesareo, then continue on Via degli Aranci until you reach the coastal road (Corso Italia). From there, follow the signs to the train station or bus terminal to catch a train or bus to Pompei. However, this is a longer option and not recommended unless you are familiar with the area.
