Walk
From the center of Sorrento, head towards Piazza Tasso. Once you reach the piazza, look for the signs leading to the Marina Piccola. Walk down Via San Cesareo, a pedestrian street with shops and cafes, until you reach the marina. From the marina, you can take a ferry to Capri. Be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance. Once you arrive at the Marina Grande on Capri, follow the signs to the funicular station, which will take you up to the town of Capri. After reaching the top, you can walk to Via Matteotti, where Giardini di Augusto is located.

From Sorrento, make your way to the Marina Piccola. You can take a local bus or walk down the hill from the town center. At the marina, purchase a ticket for a ferry to Capri. Ferries run regularly, so check the schedule at the ticket office. Once you arrive at the Marina Grande in Capri, follow the signs to the funicular to ascend to Capri town. After exiting the funicular, turn left and walk along Via Vittorio Emanuele until you reach the intersection with Via Matteotti. Continue on Via Matteotti until you reach Giardini di Augusto.

From central Sorrento, take the local SITA bus heading towards the Sorrento Marina. Disembark at the Marina Piccola stop. From there, you will find the ferry terminal. Purchase your ferry ticket to Capri and board the ferry. Once you arrive at Marina Grande in Capri, follow the signs to the funicular railway station. Take the funicular up to the town of Capri. Once you exit, walk down Via Vittorio Emanuele until you reach Via Matteotti. Walk along Via Matteotti to find Giardini di Augusto.
