To visit the Royal Palace of Caserta from Sorrento, start by heading to Sorrento's train station (Stazione di Sorrento). Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at the Caserta station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Caserta station, exit the station and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Carlo di Borbone, where the Royal Palace is located. Look for signs directing you to the palace.

You can also take a bus from Sorrento to Caserta. Head to the Sorrento bus terminal located near the train station. Look for the SITA bus that goes to Caserta. The ride is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Caserta, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Piazza Carlo di Borbone. Follow the street signs towards the Royal Palace.

If you find yourself in central Sorrento and prefer to walk, head towards the waterfront and make your way to the Marina Piccola. From there, follow the coastal path towards the train station. Once you reach the station, follow the train guidance as explained above.
