    Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Val Venosta. Navigate to the SS38 highway and head north towards Bolzano. After approximately 35 km, take the exit toward Karneid (Karneit). Follow signs for Karneid and continue on the local road for about 5 km. You will see signs directing you to Schloss Karneid, which is located on a hill. Parking is available near the castle, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Schloss Karneid via public transport, take a bus from Val Venosta to Bolzano. Look for bus line 250 or a similar service that connects to Bolzano. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once in Bolzano, transfer to bus line 10 towards Karneid. This bus will take you directly to the village of Karneid in about 30 minutes. From the bus stop in Karneid, it's a short 15-minute walk uphill to Schloss Karneid. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends and holidays.
