Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Introbio in the Province of Lecco. From Sondrio, take the SS38 road towards Lecco. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto the SS36 road towards Lecco. Continue on SS36 until you reach the exit for Introbio. Follow the signs to Introbio, and once in the town, navigate to Via alla Cascata. The trailhead for Cascata della Troggia is located along this road. Note that parking may be limited, and there may be a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Sondrio to Lecco. Once in Lecco, transfer to a local bus that heads to Introbio. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Introbio, you will need to walk to Via alla Cascata, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as service may be limited on weekends.

• Hiking

  If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to hike, there are well-marked trails leading to Cascata della Troggia. From the center of Introbio, follow the signs for the waterfall. The hike is moderate in difficulty and typically takes about 30-45 minutes to reach the waterfall. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as the trail can be steep in some sections.
