If you are driving, start from Sondrio, the main town in Valtellina. Head south on SS38 towards Tirano. After about 15 km, take the exit for Morbegno (SP8) and follow the signs for Rogolo. Once in Rogolo, you can park your car near the start of Il Sentiero del Viandante. Look for parking signs as they are available along the way.

To reach Il Sentiero del Viandante using public transport, take a train from Sondrio to Morbegno. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Morbegno, transfer to the local bus service (Line 4) that goes to Rogolo. The bus ride is about 15 minutes.
