If you are driving from the Venetian Riviera, take the A4 highway towards Venice. Once you reach Venice, follow the signs for 'Venezia Centro' to arrive at Piazzale Roma. Note that there are no cars allowed in the city; you will need to park at one of the garages near Piazzale Roma, such as the 'Garage San Marco', which typically charges around €30 per day. After parking, walk to the Vaporetto (water bus) terminal at Piazzale Roma.

From various locations in the Venetian Riviera, take a train to Venice Santa Lucia train station. This journey typically costs between €5 and €12, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Santa Lucia, exit the station and head to the Vaporetto stop right outside the station. Take Line 1 or Line 2 towards 'San Marco' and get off at the 'San Stae' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to San Giovanni Evangelista, located at Sestiere San Polo 2454. Follow the signs towards the Rialto Bridge, then turn onto Calle del Traghetto and follow it until you reach your destination.
