If you are near the Rialto Bridge, head south on Calle dei Stagneri toward the Campo San Bartolomeo. Continue straight until you reach a small square, then turn left onto Calle della Bissa. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with the Grand Canal. Cross the bridge at the end of the street, and you will find yourself in the San Polo district. If you are near the Grand Canal, take the Vaporetto Line 1 or 2 from any nearby stop towards the San Toma or Ca' Rezzonico stops. Alight at the San Toma stop. From there, head west on Calle del Pistor until you reach the first intersection. Turn right onto Calle del Campanile and continue straight. After a short walk, you will arrive at Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari located at San Polo, 3072.

From Piazza San Marco, head southwest along the Mercerie, a street that leads to the Rialto area. Continue straight until you reach Campo San Bartolomeo, then turn left onto Calle dei Stagneri. Walk straight until you reach the Grand Canal, cross the bridge, and continue into the San Polo district. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari on your right at San Polo, 3072.

From the Santa Lucia Train Station, exit and head towards the Grand Canal. You can take a left and walk along the canal towards the Piazzale Roma, or you can take a Vaporetto to the San Toma stop. If you choose to walk, go through the Ponte degli Scalzi bridge to cross the canal, then continue straight through the narrow streets towards San Polo. After about a 20-minute walk, you will arrive at Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.
