If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, exit the square through the right side and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni, enjoying the views of the lagoon. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Ponte della Paglia bridge, which will lead you to the main road. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Calle Larga Ascensione. Turn left and walk straight until you hit the Vaporetto (water bus) stop at Fondamente Nove.

Vaporetto
Take the Vaporetto Line 12 from the Vaporetto stop at Fondamente Nove towards Murano. Stay on for about 15 minutes. Get off at the Fondamente Nove stop. From the Vaporetto stop, walk straight towards the Fondamente Nove waterfront. You will find Cao Rio: Best Kayak, Row & Walk Experience in Venice located at Fondamente Nove, 6576, which is just a short walk from the Vaporetto stop.

Walking
If you are near the Rialto Bridge, head north towards the Campo San Bartolomeo and continue straight until you reach the Fondamenta del Carbon. Follow this path until you reach the Grand Canal. Take a left and walk along the canal until you reach the Vaporetto stop at Fondamente Nove. From there, you can take the Vaporetto Line 12 as described above to reach your destination.

From the Santa Lucia Train Station, exit and head towards the Grand Canal. Cross the Ponte degli Scalzi bridge and walk along the canal until you reach the Vaporetto stop at Ferrovia. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 towards Piazzale Roma.
