From Venice city center, make your way to the nearest Vaporetto stop. If you are near Piazza San Marco, walk to the 'San Zaccaria' Vaporetto stop. Take Line 5.1 towards 'Mestre FS'. Stay on the Vaporetto for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Forte Marghera' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight towards Via Forte Marghera. The entrance to the Forte will be on your left, about a 5-minute walk.

From Piazzale Roma, head to the bus terminal located just a short walk from the Vaporetto stops. Look for buses heading to 'Mestre'. Take Bus Line 4 or 4L, which runs frequently. Get off at the 'Forte Marghera' stop. From there, walk towards Via Forte Marghera, which is a short distance away, approximately 5 minutes on foot.

Walking and Public Transport Combination
If you're located in the Cannaregio area or near the train station (Santa Lucia), walk to the Ferrovia Vaporetto stop. Take Line 1 towards 'Lido' and disembark at 'San Marco - Vallaresso'. From there, walk to the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop and transfer to Line 5.1 towards 'Mestre FS'. Get off at 'Forte Marghera' and walk to the entrance, which is approximately 5 minutes down Via Forte Marghera.
