From Santa Croce, head towards the Grand Canal. If you're at the Santa Croce train station, exit and walk straight towards the canal. Once you reach the canal, turn right and walk along the waterfront. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the Ponte della Costituzione (Constitution Bridge). Cross the bridge, and continue straight. You will see signs pointing towards Piazzale Roma. Follow the signs, and after walking about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at Piazzale Roma.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a Vaporetto from one of the nearby stops, such as 'Ferrovia' (near the train station) or 'Riva de Biasio'. Board the Vaporetto line 1 towards 'Piazzale Roma'. The ride is about 5 minutes and costs approximately €7.50 for a single ticket. Get off at the 'Piazzale Roma' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the main square.
