Merge onto the A12 motorway (Autostrada A12) towards Livorno/La Spezia. Follow the A12 for about 45 kilometers. Take exit 10 for La Spezia and merge onto SS1. Follow the signs for Riomaggiore, which is approximately 12 kilometers from the exit. Once you arrive in Riomaggiore, park in one of the designated parking areas (note that parking may incur a fee, approximately 2-3 euros per hour).

    For those using public transportation, you can take a train from Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi to Riomaggiore. Start at Viareggio train station or Forte dei Marmi station and take a train towards La Spezia Centrale. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at La Spezia Centrale, switch trains to the Cinque Terre regional line and take the train towards Monterosso. Riomaggiore is the first stop on this line.
