Walking
From the center of Savanna-la-Mar, start by heading east on the main road, also known as the A2 highway. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards the beach. Look for signs indicating Green Island. Turn left onto this road and follow it for another 2 miles (3.2 km). You will pass through a small local neighborhood, so be sure to keep an eye on the road signs. Keep walking until you reach the coast, where you will find Peacock Pointe Beach.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Savanna-la-Mar and start your journey by riding east on the main road (A2 highway). Continue for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) until you reach the turnoff for Green Island. Turn left onto the road towards Green Island and pedal for another 2 miles (3.2 km). This route is mostly flat, and you’ll enjoy the local scenery along the way. When you arrive at the beach area, you will find signage directing you to Peacock Pointe Beach.
Public Transport (Bus or Minibus)
Head to the main bus terminal in Savanna-la-Mar. Look for a bus or minibus heading towards Green Island. The fare is generally inexpensive. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Peacock Pointe Beach. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After arriving in Green Island, disembark at the nearest stop to the beach. From there, follow the signs leading to Peacock Pointe Beach, which is only a short walk away.
