From any location in Bingo, take Route 2 towards Hiroshima and continue onto the Sanyo Expressway (E2). Follow the signs for Tokyo until you reach the Shinagawa area. Once in Shinagawa, take the exit towards Kitashinagawa. Continue on Kitashinagawa and look for 2 Chome-9-26, where Shotoku-ji is located. There is typically parking available nearby, but check for any parking fees which may range from ¥200-¥500 per hour.

Start by taking a local train from Bingo Station to Hiroshima Station (approximately 35 minutes). From Hiroshima Station, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Tokyo, which takes about 4 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and disembark at Shinagawa Station. From Shinagawa Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Shotoku-ji. Follow the signs towards Kitashinagawa, and you will find Shotoku-ji at 2 Chome-9-26. Ensure you have a Japan Rail Pass or purchase Shinkansen tickets in advance, as costs can be significant (around ¥14,000 one-way).
