If you are driving from central Buzen, head southeast on Route 10 (Nishikata Road) towards Beppu. Follow the directions for approximately 30 km until you reach the Beppu area. Once you enter Beppu, continue on Route 11 (the coastal road) and follow the signs for 'Kannawa'. After arriving in Kannawa, look for 'Jigoku Onsen Museum' signs.
