Car
If you are driving a car, start from the center of Buzen city and head south on Route 10. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach Beppu. Once in Beppu, follow the signs toward Kannawa. You will turn left onto Kannawa Street, which is marked with signs for the hot springs. Continue straight on this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Kannawa Steam Bath, located at 〒874-0041 Oita, Beppu, 鉄輪上1. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Kannawa Steam Bath using public transportation from Buzen, start by taking a local bus from Buzen Station to Beppu Station. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Beppu Station, transfer to the Kamenoi Bus and take the bus towards Kannawa Onsen. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Kannawa' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Kannawa Steam Bath, located at 〒874-0041 Oita, Beppu, 鉄輪上1.
