If you are traveling by car, start from central Chikugo. Navigate to Route 500 and head towards Fukuoka. Continue on Route 500 for about 15 kilometers. You will need to take the exit toward Higashiaburayama. Follow the signs for Aburayama Citizen's Forest, which is located at 855-4 Higashiaburayama, Minami Ward, Fukuoka, 814-0155. The parking lot is available on-site, and parking is free.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

To reach Aburayama Citizen's Forest using public transportation, start from Chikugo Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line towards Hakata Station and get off at Chikuzen-Maebara Station (approximately 20 minutes). From there, transfer to the Nishitetsu bus bound for Aburayama. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Aburayama'. The forest is a short walk from the bus stop. Note that the bus fare is approximately 500 yen one way.
