If you're starting from Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. After two stops, get off at Tenjin Station. At Tenjin Station, transfer to the Nishitetsu Line and take the train towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. Get off at Ohorikoen Station, which is only one stop away. Once you exit the station, turn left and follow the signs to Ohori Park. The Japanese Garden is located within the park, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

From Tenjin Bus Terminal, take the Nishitetsu Bus No. 100 or 200 towards Momochihama. Get off at the Ohorikoen-mae stop. From there, walk across the street towards the entrance of Ohori Park. The Japanese Garden is located within the park, just a short walk away.

If you are staying in the vicinity of Ohori Park, you can easily walk there. For instance, if you are near Tenjin, simply head southwest towards the park. It should take you approximately 25 minutes on foot. Follow the signs directing you to Ohorikoen, and once you reach the park, the Japanese Garden will be easily accessible within it.
