If you're traveling by car from central Chikugo, head northwest on Route 3 (Kyushu Expressway). After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Saga City. Once you exit, follow the signs for Route 34 towards Saga. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Jonai Street. Turn right onto Jonai Street. Saga Castle Ruins will be on your left at address 2 Chome-18-1 Jonai, Saga, 840-0041. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Saga Castle Ruins using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train to Saga Station. From Chikugo, you can take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line to Omuta Station, then transfer to the JR Nagasaki Line toward Saga. The total travel time should be around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Saga Station, exit the station and walk to the bus terminal. Take bus number 3 or 4 towards Jonai, which will take about 10 minutes.
