Daimaru Besso, established in 1865, offers a serene escape into traditional Japanese hospitality. This ryokan, or Japanese inn, is located in Chikushino, Fukuoka, just a short distance from the bustling city of Fukuoka. The inn is known for its beautiful Japanese gardens, soothing hot spring baths, and meticulously prepared cuisine. The history of the Futsukaichi Onsen, the hot spring that feeds Daimaru Besso's baths, dates back over 1300 years. The ryokan itself has been visited by emperors and dignitaries, solidifying its place as a treasured destination. Guests can relax in large communal indoor hot springs or reserve private family baths. The water is known for its therapeutic properties, said to ease chronic joint and nerve pain.
