    From Hakata Station in Fukuoka, take the JR Kagoshima Line to Kiyama Station (approx. 25 minutes). Transfer to the Amagi Railway and ride to Amagi Station (approx. 25 minutes). From Amagi Station, take any bus bound for Akizuki (approx. 20 minutes) and disembark at the Kyodokan Mae bus stop. Walk for about 7 minutes to reach the Akizuki Castle Ruins. Bus fare from Amagi Station to Kyodokan Mae is approximately ¥400. Total travel time is around 1 hour 15 minutes.

    From Fukuoka, drive to Akizuki Castle Ruins (approx. 45 minutes). Take the Oita Expressway and exit at the Amagi Interchange (IC). Follow the signs for Akizuki. Parking is available at the Autumn Moon Parking Lot for ¥400 for standard cars. Microbuses ¥1,300. Large buses ¥2,500.
