Car
If you are driving from Chikuzen, start by entering the Tōhoku Expressway (E4) heading north. Follow the signs for Fukaura and take the exit at Fukaura. From the exit, turn left onto Route 280. Continue on Route 280 until you reach Matsugami. Follow the signs to Aoike, which should be clearly marked. The total drive time is approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to have a navigation app handy for real-time directions.
Public Transportation
To reach Aoike via public transportation, take a train from Chikuzen Station to Fukaura Station. This journey will require a transfer at Aomori Station. Once you arrive at Fukaura Station, you can take a local bus or taxi to Aoike. The bus service may not be frequent, so check the schedule in advance. The total travel time can take around 2.5 to 3 hours, including waiting times for transfers. Ensure you have cash for the bus fare, as not all buses accept card payments.
